Ballet, Modern Jazz, Tap and Dance Exercise Teaching Qualifications
DDA offers professional dance teaching qualifications with the I.D.T.A. The I.D.T.A (International Dance Teachers Association) qualifications are recognised worldwide. It enables you to teach in schools, gyms or open your own private dance school. Other benefits include being able to enter your students into I.D.T.A examinations and competitions generating a further income. The freestyle qualification will enable you to teach most popular dance styles including, freestyle (disco), street dance, lyrical, bollywood, african, line dancing, and salsa. The ballet, modern jazz and tap qualifications are essential styles for students deciding on entering a career as a theatre branch dance teacher. The I.D.T.A Ballet teaching qualification also entitles holders of this qualification to become a mutually recognised teacher with the R.A.D (Royal Academy Of Dance) and once a member with both societys, teachers can enter students for examinations in both syllabi.The Dance Exercise Qualification is suitable for students wanting to teach in gyms focusing on fitness aswell as in dance schools.
Dream Dance Academy is a registered examining centre with the I.D.T.A, specialising in teacher training and a recognised school by the Council For Dance Education & Training.
All dance teaching courses can be taken either as method 1 weekly part time lessons at the Academy or as method 2 long distance online home study programme.
All dance teaching courses are intensive courses with a make up of 50% practical and 50% Theory.
