SCHOOL RULES

Behaviour
Bad behaviour will not be tolerated, and students must have mutual respect for other students and their teacher. Dancing is fun and to be enjoyed by all so we ask each and every student to abide by this simple philosophy at all times.

Punctuality/Attendance
Please ensure that you try to arrive in time for your class. Students need to arrive in time to get dressed into the correct uniform, and be prepared for their lesson.  Students must try to inform tutors if they are unable to make a lesson. The Academy has the right to dismiss students who have continously poor attendance.

Uniform
The correct uniform must be worn, and is compulsary for class. Please try to be well groomed for every lesson. Students should wear the correct uniform for each separate discipline.

Hair
All students hair should be tied back and clear from the face, separate arrangements for examinations will be discussed with pupils prior to each examination session.

Jewellery
For safety no jewellery should be worn in class, with the exception of stud earrings only.
 
Mobile Phones
They may be brought into class for security, but must remain on silent and not be played during dance classes.
 
Food & Drink
May not be brought into the hall that we teach in, with the exception of water. We expect all pupils to show respect for the hall at all times.
